Green Day Celebrations

Green Day
Celebrations

On August 31st, Aspen celebrated the colour ‘Green’; a celebration of prosperity. Aspenites were thrilled to watch the formation of a green hue by mixing the primary shades of blue and yellow. To further celebrate Green day, Aspenites brought a variety of green objects ranging from things found in the nature to toys. The environment was decked up with a display of green fruits and vegetables to widen their understanding of natural green. August 31st, also marked an important day in the Montessori community — Dr. Maria Montessori’s birthday. With utmost admiration and respect, Aspenites spent their day by celebrating the 153rd Anniversary of Dr. Maria Montessori.
