Janmashtami Celebrations

Janmashtami Celebrations

Aspenites celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm on September 7th, 2023! Children came dressed as Radha and Krishna to honor the deities in the traditional way. They also decorated a pot with the given cutouts expressing the ‘Makhan Chor’s’ absolute love for butter and his mischievous activities revolving around it. Janmashtami is a joyous occasion filled with music and dance and the little ones’ performances made the event more joyous. Last but not the least, Aspenites enjoyed the story of Lord Krishna with keen interest. All in all, the Janmashtami celebrations at Aspen Montessori House were a culturally enriching event for the children giving them a newfound appreciation for the tradition.
