Makar Sankranti Celebrations

Makar Sankranti Celebrations at Aspen

Makar Sankranti is celebrated all across India by different names and rituals associated with this pious day. Makar Sankranti is symbolic of the change of planetary houses that the Sun makes by shifting from Saggitarius to Capricorn during this time of the year. So what if we can’t meet nothing can stop the zeal of Celebration . Aspenities celebrated Sankranti on VIRTUAL PLATFORM. It felt a blessing to see our little ones dressed up in Ethnic attire. The fervor doubled when parents representing the respective states of INDIA shared the culture and custom followed during the auspicious day. Children were related with customs followed in different states through the PowerPoint presentation, which followed with an Art & Craft session -making of a kite which they thoroughly enjoyed and to end the session we had shown our children MAKING Of TIL LADDU which is eaten in different forms across India.
