MAKAR SANKRANTI FESTIVAL

The aura was full of happiness, the breeze was full of colours, kids were thronging to fly kites.
Makar Sankranti, an Indian festival full of fun and frolic was celebrated in Aspen on the 10th of January 2020.
Children were dressed in their colorful Ethnic attires. The importance of cattle, animals, birds on this Earth which helps us yield crops was mentioned to children at the same this festival being celebrated as a harvest festival in different States like
Pongal in Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu
Lohri in Punjab
Makar Sanskranti in Maharastra and Karnataka was related to children.
The colorful Rangoli prepared with the flying kites, Pongal cooked in Earthern pot and its importance was told to children. The must awaited fun FLYING KITES on terrace with their friends remained memorable and enjoyable.
