Aspen Navaratri celebration

To mark the birth of Lord Krishna, eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, Aspen celebrated Janmashtami on Friday, 22nd of August. The environment was all decked up with matkhas, flutes, peacock feathers teeming with the joy of our little Beautiful Radhikas and natkhat Kanhaiyas. Children were fascinated by the wonderful ritual of welcoming Krishna with the tiny foot prints painted at the entrance. Furthermore children were amazed with birth and adventure stories of blue-hued deity. The day ended with the coloring activity and children dancing to their favorite tunes..
