Vijayadashmi

Vijayadashmi or Dusshera an important festival which signifies the victory of good over evil. Children at Aspen are very enthusiastic and express a their great zeal for celebration. Aspenities celebrated Navratri and Bathukamma – a state festival (Telangana)on Friday the 13th of October.
Bathuakamma – colourful and Vibrant festival of our state Telangana specially celebrated by women. Children were dressed in Ethnic attire; The day began with colouring activity and they all performed dance (Garba) on the occasion. The preparation for this started much earlier with practice sessions. It was great to watch the children’s performances.
