PINK AND PURPLE DAY CELEBRATION
The colour pink represents compassion, nurturing and love.The good effects of pink kindles friendship, harmony and affection!!! The young ones came dressed in pink and brought pink coloured toys, flowers, water bottles, images of pink flowers and different objects to display the shades of pink. All the pink objects found in Nature such as Pink Onions, salt, kaneru flower, hibiscus flower, beetroot, pea nuts, Bougainvillea flower, rose flower, pomegranate seeds were displayed in the class and children were introduced to different shades of pink to depict the impact of pink colour in our lives. The tiny tots participated in hands on activity such as flower making (Origami), Show and Tell Activity which they thoroughly enjoyed. The aim of the activity was to make the young ones identify pink colour of the objects they see around them.
