A workshop on “First Aid and Nutrition” was held in Aspen Montessori House. Our parent volunteer Dr. Kalindi Shah who is a Consultant Paediatrician and a Paediatric Nephrologist practicing since 11 years gave the talk.It was a truly informative and and an interactive workshop. She touched upon all the precautions and first steps of action without hitting the panic button, in case of injuries and illnesses that we usually come across at home. It’s really important to know simple and easy First Aid treatments to avoid further injury before a proper medical assistance is given. Awareness on balanced Nutrition to our kids, and the importance of nutrition was highlighted during the workshop. She spoke on the Importance of nutritive breakfast to kids, and also on “How to manipulate each of our child’s favourite meal making it a more nutritious and a tastier meal” . Our Parents were benefitted by this wonderful session. We thank Dr. Kalindi for giving such a beautiful and an interesting workshop.
