Makar Sankranti Celebrations

The environment of Aspen beamed with enthusiasm as children dressed in ethnic attire to celebrate the festival of Makar Sankranti. It is a festival celebrated across the country known by different names. Children were told the significance of the festival and the different names the festival is known by. They also learnt why it is known as the ‘Harvest Festival’. Finally, Children enjoyed making beautiful kites and were ecstatic to fly the kites!
